The Family Resource Center for Eau Claire County, Inc., was established in April, 1999. The need for a universal support system for all families in the country, as well as a central collaboration point for family service organizations, was established by the Healthy Communities 2000 assessment in 1998. Family Resource Center opened its doors in November, 1999.The mission of the Family Resource Center is to provide programs and services that build on family strengths through prevention, education, support and networking in collaboration with other resources in the community. The Family Resource Center is available to ALL families and children in Eau Claire County.

What do we do?
Children don't come with instructions. The Family Resource Center provides parenting education, information and support services to any family living in Eau Claire County. Services are offered on site and throughout the county and include parenting classes, playgroups, home visits, worksite seminars and other programming to address a variety of needs that parents encounter. Parents can call anytime for information, resources, referrals or for support.
Who do we serve?
All families need support! The Family Resource Center serves any family living in Eau Claire County. There are no qualifications for services and no referrals needed. Each year hundreds of families county-wide participate in our programs.
